Welcome to Chelsea Skip Hire. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our skip hire services. By booking a skip with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms:
1. Booking and Reservations
All bookings must be made through our official channels. Upon confirmation, a booking reference will be provided.
1.1 Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
- Bookings must be made for legitimate waste disposal purposes.
2. Payment Terms
Payments are required at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards and PayPal.
2.1 Pricing
- Prices are subject to change based on the size and duration of hire.
- Additional fees may apply for oversize or excessively heavy waste.
3. Delivery and Collection
We will deliver the skip to your specified location on the agreed date and collect it once you have filled it to the agreed capacity.
3.1 Location Restrictions
- Skips must be placed on stable, level ground.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain any necessary permissions.
4. Use of the Skip
You agree to use the skip responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
4.1 Permissible Waste
- Construction and demolition waste.
- Household waste.
- Green waste.
Note: Some items are strictly prohibited and must not be disposed of in the skip.
4.2 Prohibited Waste
- Hazardous materials, including chemicals and asbestos.
- Electrical appliances containing refrigerants.
- Medical waste.
5. Liability
We are not liable for any damage caused by the improper use of the skip. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the skip is used safely and legally.
5.1 Damage to Property
- Any damage caused during delivery or collection will be assessed and billed accordingly.
- Customers must inform us of any existing damage to their property before skip placement.
6. Cancellation Policy
Bookings can be canceled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date without incurring any fees.
6.1 Late Cancellations
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery will incur a fee of 50% of the total booking cost.
- No-shows or failure to collect the skip as agreed may result in additional charges.
7. Insurance
We carry liability insurance to cover any accidental damage caused during the provision of our services.
7.1 Customer Insurance
- Customers are advised to check their own insurance policies for coverage related to skip placement.
- We are not responsible for any personal injuries or property damage resulting from the use of our skips.
8. Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal data provided during the booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8.1 Data Usage
- Data collected will be used solely for the purpose of providing skip hire services.
- We will not share your data with third parties without your consent.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Chelsea Skip Hire operates.

- Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through arbitration.
